i want to be a game developer, but have little knowledge on how to get there. Help?

I want to be a game developer, but have minuscule knowledge on how to get there. Help?
Get a bachelors degree in computer science then go to graduate school and get a M.S. RIT has a degree specifically for game design and development and I suspect other universities do also.
Reply:Do you have any skill in the field? Get a degree in graphic arts and/or computer programming!
