What is the average salary for a web developer?

I make just over $50,000 in upstate NY, but that is not for just your basic static HTML pages. I know JavaScript, VBScript, and Flash, and only use Flash or Active Server Pages to design websites, and I also administer my own databases, Microsoft Access and SQL.

This depends on your location, skills, whether you are a graduate, and I have to say gender and age also.

Reply:In South Africa it could be anything between R12000 to R30000 depending on which company you're working for. The amounts should stay the same in whichever country you are. Only the currency will differ!
