If the developer told you that they would build a store to your specifications, do you have to pay anything?

This shopping center has not been built yet and so does this also mean that I would have to pay for rent too while the construction is going on? Would I have to pay for the construction if they told me that they would build to my specifications? Would I have to pay for anything? Please note that I will be signing a 5 year lease as part of the deal for building it to my specifications but I am concerned about whether or not I would have to pay any money.

probably. There's got to be a catch in there somewhere.
Reply:You shouldn't have to pay rent until you are able to us eth espace. the lease you have should have a tiem frame as to when you are required to take over the responsibility of the space. as for building your space to your specs, yes, you will vey likely have to pay for any design beyond the definition of a standard space.
Reply:If you are that uncertain of the terms of your lease, you should consider consulting a lawyer before signing.
Reply:maybe you should get a copy of the lease to review before sitting down to sign. it should include all the details.
