I opened bottle of hair dye developer about 3 months ago and didn't use it, is it still okay to use?

Not being very experienced with hair dye and having not used it in years I'm wondering if it's still okay to use? What with it being chemicals and stuff (it's permanent dye) ! Help appreciated! Thanks.

i used hir dye before and it said on the istructions leaflet to use immediatley





so it is probs dangerous
Reply:with chemicals if in doubt leave it out, you dont want a nasty chemical burn or for it to burn your hair off or anything. Dye developer is quite cheap anyway so should just get a new one
Reply:yep it should be fine to use, as long as you didnt mix it with the colour and stored it closed it its bottle.


maybe do a strand test and another allergy test just to be on the safe side.


p.s. you only have to use it immediately once you have MIXED the colour with the developer. stored apart they are perfectly safe to store and use later.
